Faculty & Staff

Faculty and StudentsThe Office of the University Registrar (OUR) provides a number of services to faculty and staff throughout the university. Please review the information found on these web pages, and if you have general questions, please send them to registrar@duke.edu. If you have questions about specific areas, please send them to:

25Live: help-25live@duke.edu
Bulletins: bulletins@duke.edu
Class and classroom scheduling: class-scheduling@duke.edu
Veterans: veteranseducation@duke.edu

Much of the work completed by the OUR is driven by policies spelled out in the Faculty Handbook. Chapter 6 is particularly relevant.

Faculty Teaching Undergraduate Students - Please remember to incorporate midsemeter grading into your plans for the middle of February. Midsemester grades are required for all first-year students, transfer students, and any undergraduate students making less than C- progress. Consider the possibility of providing midsemester grades to all of your students. Students are always eager to know just where they stand in their courses.
