New Student Registration

Undergraduate:  New undergraduate Trinity and Pratt students register for fall classes in July. During the July first-year enrollment window, students are limited to 4.5 units and are unable to waitlist for courses. The first-year window will close and students are prohibited from making schedule changes until the second window opens in August. First-year students must meet with an academic adviser and be marked eligible to enroll for the term before enrolling in August. First-year students will be able to make schedule adjustments from the Wednesday before the first day of classes until the drop/add deadline for the term. During this second enrollment window, first-year students are limited to 4.5 units but are able to waitlist. Please refer to the appropriate Blue Book for additional information.

Graduate/Professional:  New students enrolled through the Graduate School, Engineering Professional, Nursing and the Sanford School of Public Policy will have access to registration the day after they have been matriculated. Registration in approved cross-career classes will be available on the following Friday.

New students enrolled through the Divinity School, Fuqua School of Business, Duke Law School and Nicholas School of the Environment should consult with their school for detailed registration information.
