Summer 2018 Registration

Registration for classes during the summer terms is optional, therefore, the process to do so differs from the other enrollment terms.  Graduate School students will be made eligible to enroll by the Office of the University Registrar. All other students must request summer enrollment through the registration section of DukeHub. For more information on the registration process please read the following documentation.

Drop/add (dropping one class and adding another class in its place) may be done prior to the beginning of the term or during the first three days of the term. There are no financial charges for dropping and adding, as long as no reduction in course load takes place after 12:01 a.m. on the day that classes begin for that term. A reduction in course load after the term begins, however, will result in the assessment of a $150 withdrawal fee per course. Currently enrolled Duke students must use DukeHubto drop and add; all other students must contact the Summer Session office.
